Privacy Policy

Pecly ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Pecly mobile application and website at https://pecly.app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our services.
Information we collect
Photos you provide
When you select or capture a photo to edit, that image is processed to deliver the retouching service. Photos are sent to our servers only for the purpose of generating your edit and are not used to train public AI models without your consent.
Account and subscription data
If you subscribe to Pecly Pro, purchase and renewal information is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We receive subscription status from those platforms to unlock Pro features in the app. We do not store your full payment card details.
Usage and diagnostics
We may collect anonymized usage events, crash reports, and performance data to improve the app. This can include device type, app version, and feature interactions. Where enabled, analytics providers such as Mixpanel or PostHog may process events on our behalf.
Support communications
If you email us at hello@pecly.app, we retain your message and email address to respond to your request.
How we use information
- Provide AI photo retouching and before/after comparison features
- Manage subscriptions, restores, and Pro access
- Improve reliability, performance, and product quality
- Respond to support requests and legal obligations
Data retention
Edits saved in the app are stored locally on your device unless you choose to save them to your camera roll. Server-side processing data is retained only as long as needed to complete your request and operate the service, unless a longer period is required by law.
You can delete all local app data at any time from Settings → Delete All Data in the Pecly app.
Sharing with third parties
We may share limited data with service providers who help us operate Pecly, including:
- Cloud hosting and AI processing infrastructure
- Analytics and crash reporting tools
- Apple and Google for in-app purchases and subscriptions
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
Your choices
- Deny photo or camera permissions — editing features will not work without access
- Manage App Tracking Transparency on iOS in your device settings
- Cancel subscriptions through your App Store or Play Store account
- Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable
Children
Pecly is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided us data.
International users
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our service providers may be located.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above.
